Snowy Peaks, Ski Resorts and Alpine Villages from Denver
Discover the magic of the Colorado Rockies during winter.
Begin with one night in Denver before travelling into the mountains for three nights in Breckenridge. Ski or snowboard at Breckenridge, visit nearby resorts or enjoy winter activities away from the slopes.
Continue through the Rocky Mountains to Vail or Beaver Creek. Spend two nights surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery, ski some of Colorado’s most famous terrain or simply enjoy the restaurants, shops and winter atmosphere of the mountain villages.
Return to Denver for your final night before departing from Denver International Airport.
This itinerary avoids the seasonally closed Trail Ridge Road and Independence Pass used in our summer journey. The route principally follows Interstate 70, but winter storms can still produce snow, ice, severe congestion and temporary road closures.
The suggested package includes seven nights, but your vacation is fully flexible. Add or remove nights, choose your preferred hotels and select the rental-car category that best suits your trip.
